Never be tempted to get a tan just to remove acne, this just do not works. The tanning process does not cause your acne to be gone, in fact it hides the acne with the slightly darker skin you get out of tan. Sex hormones fluctuation and increase in the body can cause the sebaceous glands in the skin to over produce oil.The skin is producing the sebum in the area located near the hair follicle. Coupled with the production of the skin cell, the pores are likely to become clogged and plugs. This causes blackheads and allows the bacteria that love sebum to multiply. Inflammations of the skin are caused when the body tries to fight the bacteria and blood vessel surrounding the area will expand to allow your antibody to fight. When this occurs, expect to see pus developing.
Hormone fluctuations especially during adolescent is one of the very first speculated reason for the cause of acne.Acne formation are caused by oil overproduction triggered by hormone fluctuations. In adults, an excess of the male hormone androgen may cause clogging hair follicles, thus causing a breakout in pimples.
When hormone level reaches a certain level, the sebaceous gland enlarges causing over production of oil on the skin.Sebum is secreted by the sebaceous gland and as the hormone level triggers its enlargement, the amount of sebum will also increase. Sebum in excess will cause the hair follicles to be blocked and this condition will be a very fertile ground for bacteria breeding. Acne is caused by the bacteria and the sebum provides ample feeding ground for these bacteria to live on. Acne breakout is often seen as a teenagers problem due to the fact that acne breakout can be triggered by hormonal changes. The same hormonal changes that result in other bodily changes during puberty can also trigger this domino effect in our skin, leading to acne development.
If you mistaken an acne papule and acne pustule it is because they look just about the same with their characteristic small and roundish lesions. Acne pustule in its early stage maybe difficult to tell apart from acne papules, however at a later stage, the difference can be clearly seen because acne pustule contains pus. They may appear red at the base with a yellowish or whiteish center. Pustules does not necessary contain a great deal of bacteria, but are inflamed due to chemical irritation from sebum components.
