Some people find sun bathing helpful because they believe the sun’s rays kill the bacteria that cause the dermatitis. You can try this out but do not over do and if you feel discomfort, get out of the sun immediately. Aloe is known to soothe the skin but make sure you use pure aloe and nothing else.

 

Cold compress with water is also known to help a lot. In addition, you can mix 1 tbsp of camphor and 1 teaspoon of sandalwood into a paste and apply it over the affected area. This has been known to soothe the skin. Neem has known and potent natural anti-microbial properties. So it is often found to be helpful against eczema. Boil some Neem leaves in 200gms of mustard in an iron vessel. Stop boiling when the leaves turn black. Let the oil cool, then filter it and apply it regularly on the affected area. You can also try spearmint leaf juice on the affected area.

 

These home remedies are very useful but it is usually a better thing if you follow a properly formulated treatment plan. That way, not only can you ensure relief but also a permanent cure.
